Hehe. Okay. I’ll accept that. But I still think you could afford to stop using “old” and “fat” as, well, insults. ‘Cause some old, fat people are really awesome people who just happen to be not-young or not-skinny. That’s all I’m saying.

(And what characters could you have even been talking about in your examples of old, fat, sexy people? None come to MY mind, but maybe that’s just because I don’t watch TV.)

You’re probably right, but i see a bunch of other women in different tv shows who are older than Fran, really obese and i can tell they’re sexy. So i wouldn’t say i have insane standards for women, and about men, no, if i see an old fucker who is fat and is playing the role of a hot/sexy guy, i’d say the same thing or meaner things even.

I really have a problem with this bitch, and i wanted to say really mean things about her. Period.

Aside from the e-mailed response I gave, I have to respond to your comments here. What is so bad about someone over the age of 40 being portrayed as sexy? Why does a woman’s identity have to go from sex symbol to matronly grandmother the minute she hits 40? When you’re “old” you’ll probably have NO problem with women being portrayed as sexy when they’re not skinny and young anymore. Not that I’m saying I see her as sexy, because I never have (the voice…ew.) But you can say you don’t like the show and don’t like her in that role without talking about her being fat and old and ugly. When you say she’s fat and old and ugly (when she is small and has half of her life ahead of her), it shows that you have these insane standards for women that you don’t have for men. Men can play whatever the hell role they want at any age or size, really, or at least they have a LOT more options than women do. Just…think about it.

LeAnna, that’s not what i meant.

My point is that she is not sexy anymore. She was before. She was a sex symbol in The Nanny and they’re trying to use her again as a sex symbol now when she’s almost 50 and not sexy at all. And don’t get me wrong again, i know fat women who are sexy, the problem here is that she is old as well.

I don’t have a problem with a show having a fat woman or dude on the leading role, my problem is when they’re used as some kind of sex symbol when they’re clearly not, which is the exact case here.

And just to be clear, in the picture, fat was meaning fat, as in the actual fat in that part of the body. Which even i have, but since she is old it looks bad.

So yea, i’m entitled to my opinion about her, and so are you. Just don’t get me wrong.

Josue, complain about the producers putting on the show. But don’t complain about her taking advantage of their offer. Anyone would. She can’t change her voice, and people obviously want to watch that shit, as lots of shows maintain those themes right now. And fat? Umm, she’s probably a size 8. That’s still pretty darn below average. Besides, even if she were actually fat, why would that automatically make her ugly? And if she were ugly, why would that automatically make the show shitty? Everyone deserves to persue happiness, Josue. DON’T WATCH THE SHOW if you have an issue with it.
