I agree with you when it comes to newer Cinema Displays, I however, own two classic 17inch clear plastic ones that I think are unmatched style wise by anything made nowadays. Also, big pixels are good to me.

Zach, basically the problem with it is that many things we didn’t have to agree to, we did on our own, changing the way many things work in the country just to please others and not because they asked but because we’re stupid.

Cafta is going to change the way drugs are handled (prescription drugs), it will open the telecommunications market to outsiders (which is a good thing), it will let us export our products without taxes, but it will let others import without taxes too (Chris’s point).

I support Cafta by the way, it is a good thing for the most part, it could have been better but it’s good enough, and saying no to it would have been a big mistake.

But now we have to look out and do what’s best for our own interests now that it’s been approved.

From what I read it sounds like the biggest fear is American corporations(Wal-Mart) moving in and selling large volumes of crap at costs that the local vendors can’t compete with. Hell we ourselves have enough trouble with Wal-Mar, might as well share our problem with the world.

While you have a point, we are the ones that are designing this technology and if we don’t think in this way we don’t learn from others successes and mistakes. I absolutely love using the websites I critique and my critiques don’t bring down my enjoyment while I use the sites.

The thing that “we” have to avoid doing is bringing up the flaws when communicating with those that don’t care. You posted on this before and I think it’s the biggest problem. Learning from others to keep myself on top of the game is not a crime and I won’t stop.
