About

If you are interested in learning more about your narrator, do click through, otherwise, keep on reading.

This website started around 10 years ago. However, due to an unfortunate incident with backups and hosting, the archives only go back as far as 2004. You will find stories and links about technology and the internet.

Before I go into more detail, there’s two things I would like to mention, for any old friends noticing the 2010 refresh:

  • The design you are looking at, while carefully constructed is heavily inspired by two things, the color scheme from Reeder for iPhone and the format of Daring Fireball
  • There are text ads on the sidebar. They have been here for about a year and while sometimes they are of questionable quality (Ie. costa rican women), most of the time they are okay and do pay the hosting bills, so I have come to terms with this.

Over the years, I have gone through a few different CMS’s, the first of which was CuteNews, a database-less text based project (which is in fact still around and serving many websites). MovableType followed, and with that my first and only take on theming for the platform. At the time, I had ported Kubric for WordPress to MT, it became successful and gained adoption. Shortly after I lost my website in that freak accident with my hosting that I mentioned. In short, I ended up in WordPress and have not looked back (to the point where a lot of my daily work involves WordPress these days).

Not to get sidetracked here though, the topics I cover on this website are things that interest me and I do not claim to offer anything for which you may later on regret subscribing, so that’s that. It is a personal blog after all. If you must know, Apple is a category, but so is Music and Love.

I leave you with that. I am trying to improve my writing and in 2010 it is my goal to publish a few articles a month and a more constant stream of linkage.

Enjoy and stick around if you like.

By the way, this is what I look like:
